Global Forum 2010 – Shaping the Future, 8-9 November 2010, Marvin Center, George Washington University, Washington DC, USA

Special invitation for the Major Cities of Europe members

ICT FOR AN EMPOWERED SOCIETY A SMART AND INNOVATIVE WORLD

The 19th ”Global Forum / Shaping the Future” is organized by Items International in cooperation with the Foundation Sophia-Antipolis and the George Washington University.

Global Forum
“Global Forum / Shaping the Future” is an international event dedicated to government, business and policy issues that affect the successful evolution of the Information Society.

As a high-profile international “think tank”, the Global Forum brings together industry leaders, senior policy makers from national, regional and local governments, civil society leaders, researchers and academic specialists. Each year, the Global Forum welcomes more than 300 distinguished delegates from more than 30 countries around the world, from Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific.

It facilitates the creation of deep ties among participants, synergies between suppliers and users as well as connections between practical applications and innovative ideas in an increasingly convergent technology environment. It acts as a catalyst for a wide range of ICT applications, platforms and positions, while remaining neutral and independent.

Today, the Global Forum is much more than an ICT conference; it has become a significant event on the fall calendar of key experts in government, industry and civil society.

Following the agreement made in 2008 with the Major Cities of Europe organization, we are pleased to send this special invitation for the participants to the Major Cities of Europe members. The individual participation fee for Public Officials is free for the first participant of each Local Government and offered at 350€ for each following participant. The invitation is extended to other Public Officials in your Local Administration.

Please contact giorgio.prister@majorcities.eu to take advantage of this special offering
