Elena Grandi

I was born in 1960 in Milan, where I live and work; I am married and have three children.

After classical high school, I have always worked as a free-lance editor, revising literary texts. In 2006 I was elected, as an independent for the Rosa nel Pugno in agreement with the Radicals, in the Council of Zone 1 in Milan. Since 2011 I have been a member of the Green Federation and since 2016 I have been a member of the National Executive, as well as the Regional Executive of Lombardy. From 2011 to 2016, once again elected, with the Greens, I was President of the Green Commission for the Environment and State Property of the Council of Zone 1. Candidate in 2016 with the Sinistra x Milano list for Municipality 1, and again elected, I hold the position of Vice President of Municipality 1 and Councilor for Green Environment Urban Furnishing Home State Property. From December 2018 to July 2021 I was Co-Spokesperson for Europa Verde – Verdi and since October 2021 I have held the position of Councilor for the Environment and Green at the Municipality of Milan.
