This is the official Management Board, representing the Organisation of the Major Cities of Europe. The president and his colleagues are responsible for all the decisions, activities and the progress of the group, including strategy and finances.

President

The President acts in the interest of the members and in compliance with the statute. He ensures the fulfillment of the Major Cities of Europe (MCE) mission, its financial sustainability, its successful development, the members’ satisfaction, and the growth of the memberships. The President coordinates and chairs the MCE Executive Committee. He legally represents MCE as does each member of the Executive Committee.

Working in collaboration with the President, the members of the Management  Team and of the Organising Committee (OC) and others as appropriate, to propose, evaluate and implement organisational initiatives that benefit MCE members and/or contribute to the well-being of the MCE organisation. Supporting the OC in developing and implementing the programmes of conference, of the workshops and of webinars

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for all financial activities of the group. He has to keep the balance between necessary investments and costs.

 

General Administration Manager

The General Administration Manager is responsible for the administration and the official documents of the Association. He assists the President in dealing with the members’ communication and invoicing, he writes, circulates, and archives the meetings’ minutes, he assists the Treasurer in the management of the funds of the association and assists the Auditors in their activities.

Technical Director

As Technical Director works in collaboration with the Executive Committee, manages, proposes, evaluates, implements, and maintains, the MCE technological solutions and tools, supervises the technological operations, defines, and controls the services and products provided by external organizations.
